About the author
Jan Boutmans, hoogleraar, doceert basketbal, interactie-bewegingsvormen en sportcoaching aan de Faculteit Lichamelijke Opvoeding en Kinesitherapie van de KU Leuven. Hij was jarenlang basketbalspeler, daarna basketbalcoach op nationaal niveau en trainer van de nationale universitaire basketbalploeg. PAUL ROWE, doctor in de lichamelijke opvoeding, is als doctor-assistent verbonden aan de Faculteit Lichamelijke Opvoeding en Kinesitherapie van de KU Leuven. Hij doceert aan de Vlaamse Trainersschool (BLOSO) en de Irish Basketball Association (IBA). Hij speelde jarenlang basketbal op nationaal niveau en was onder meer coach van regionale jeugdploegen.
