Content

Human Molecular Genetics is an established title that provides an authoritative and integrated approach to the molecular aspects of human genetics.

While maintaining the hallmark features of previous editions, the Fifth Edition has been completely updated, so to provide the reader with current developments in the field. The text has been restructured and thoroughly updated: older technologies such as cloning and hybridization have been merged, new gene editing techniques such as Crispr/CAS have been included, and more coverage of GWAS and other large-scale studies is featured. More focus is given on inheritance and variation in the context of populations and on the role of epigenetics in gene regulation.

New Key Concepts at the beginning of each chapter and annotated further reading at the conclusion of each chapter will help readers navigate the wealth of information in this subject. High-quality artwork is found throughout the book, ilustrating the key concepts and mechanisms. For this edition, the authors of the highly acclaimed textbook Human Evolutionary Genetics have penned a new chapter on evolution and anthropology.

A class-proven textbook for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students, Human Molecular Genetics is a go-to book for those studying human molecular genetics or genomics courses.

Book condition
An important factor of a second-hand book is the condition of the book. The buyer may not be surprised. Always mention damages or defects. We use a system with 3 stars:
The book is acceptable: you have used it to study and made notes and markings – but everything is still readable. The cover and pages are in good condition.
The book still looks good: there are a few notes in it and you marked it. There are hardly any signs of use on the cover and pages.
The book is (almost) new: you have not written or marked in it. There are no signs of use on the cover and pages.
